LICENSED ASSOCIATE COUNSELOR

(she/her)

I believe in the power of the therapeutic process and the ability of every individual to experience peace and fulfillment in their lives. As a therapist, my goal is to create an empathetic, safe space for my clients to be vulnerable enough to explore some of their most difficult challenges.  I see myself as a partner to my clients and aim to help them develop the willingness to sit with their emotions, the awareness to identify their personal goals, and provide encouragement for them to realize their agency. I view therapy as a collaborative process, focused on the experiences and issues that are most pertinent to my clients and the areas they desire to make change in their lives.  I strive to help guide individuals in discovering their authentic selves and work alongside them to build the tools and resources they need to take action and show up as their full selves.

I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, individuals, and families navigating complex challenges relating to stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, identity, and self-esteem issues. I meet my clients where they are at with compassion and a strengths-based, affirming approach. Therapy with me will feel empowering, fun, and focused on ever-lasting growth.

I am passionate about providing person-centered, trauma-informed, multicultural and gender-affirming care.  I utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing techniques with clients to identify their aspirations for their relationships, grow in self-love, and improve their quality of life.

Outside of the office, you can find me being one with the moss and the trees while hiking or soaking up the sun kayaking. I love books and reading, attending concerts, and watching the desert sunsets. I’m a mom of two amazing children, married to my best friend, and love caring for our desert tortoise, Steve.

I’d love to connect with you for a free 15-minute consultation to help determine if I’m a compatible fit for your therapeutic goals.
