Kari Savoie, MC, LAC
LICENSED ASSOCIATE COUNSELOR
(she/her)
My goal is to create a therapeutic space defined by a spirit of curiosity, empathy, and inclusivity. I help clients grow their understanding of themselves and leave with tools and skills they can carry with them through life. I aim to collaborate with you in aligning my approach to fit your goals, preferences, and feedback. I hold a deep sense of respect and appreciation for clients’ bravery and vulnerability in the counseling process.
I have experience working with clients on topics including life transitions, stress, trauma, and depression. I hold a particular passion for assisting clients in lessening OCD’s grip using the gold-standard approach Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I believe that OCD is often misunderstood, so I strive to help clients learn about it as a part of therapy. I am also currently in the process of completing Basic Training requirements for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which can be utilized to treat trauma and a myriad of other concerns.
Outside of the office, you can find me spending time with my dog, trying new coffee and tea shops, or recharging by enjoying TV shows, books, and podcasts. I am an avid follower of baseball, hockey, and figure skating.
Please reach out if you would like to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to help determine if I am a good fit for you at this time!
