Victoria Conrey, MSW, LCSW

LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

(she/her)

In my first counseling session, I was the client. I needed help with the chaos life threw at me, and  I encountered firsthand the life-changing experience counseling can offer.  I fell in love with the work and my passions grew for the complexities of emotions, the words we use to shape our experiences, and the fascinating connection of the mind and body. As a therapist, my  goal is to use my knowledge, experience, and presence to offer a person-centered, strength-based approach to therapy while maintaining a safe, non-judgmental environment for all of my clients.

I specialize working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, symptoms of trauma, and difficulty with life transitions. My counseling style blends EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy techniques to identify the source of symptoms and provide evidence-based interventions. In my work with littles, I utilize play therapy, skill-based therapy, and psychoeducation to process trauma and regain emotional regulation. I hope to teach all of my clients the application of practical skills to find freedom from life’s hindrances. At request, I offer Christian faith-based counseling.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my friends and family, camping, hiking, or kayaking. I am a coffee and tea enthusiast, and my personal heroes are Brene Brown, Mr. Rogers, C.S. Lewis, and Dr. Maya Angelou. I am inspired by their gift of storytelling that has continued to capture the hearts of millions.

Sometimes, the first step can be the hardest. To begin, call or email me to schedule a 10-15-minute consultation so we can determine your counseling and scheduling needs. I look forward to connecting with you.
